1715-1719: New organ by Arp Schnitger. Schnitger died during the building activities for this organ, which was completed by his main employee Lambert Daniel Kastens (01)

1734: Repairs by Johann Dietrich Busch and Lambert Daniel Carstens.

1830: New organ by Marcussen in the existing case .

1905: Another new organ in the Schnitger case by Wilhelm Sauer. The front pipes of Principal 16' survived 100% and the Principal 8' partly. These front pipes were not confiscated during World War I.

1948: Neo-Baroque changes by Ernst Brandt.

1976: Changes and enlargement by Franz Grollmann.

2001: Extra mechanical one-manual-console at the old location by Heinz Hoffmann for playing the Schnitger Principal 16' and 8' and the reconstructed Principal 4' and 2' (02)

  1. E-Mail from Ibo Ortgies from 8-6-2005: "Laut Fock 1974, S. 277, war es 1715-1719. Viel früher kann es auch nicht gewesen sein, da die Kirche 1713 eingestürzt war! Schnitger starb während des Baus der Orgel, und sein Meistergeselle Lambert Daniel Kastens beendete die Arbeit".
