1678-1698: New organ by Heinrich Herbst, though he did not succeed in finishing the instrument.

1698-1703: Completion of the organ by Arp Schnitger.

1706: Repairs by Arp Schnitger.

1741: Christoph Trautmann adds a Posaune 32' to the Pedal.

1751: Christoph Trautmann adds chimes.

1817: Repairs and enlargement by J.D. Hamann

1853-1858: Adolf Reubke builds a new organ, using the old case and some of the ranks.

1917: Requisition of the frontpipes for World War I.

1935: New frontpipes and enlargement by Furtwängler & Hammer .

1944: The organ is removed to another place to protect the organ from bombing

After 1945: The organ is moved to the Heiliggeistkirche

1959: The Heiliggeistkirche is demolished and the organ, or parts of it, have disappeared.
